The drama. The putt. The fist-pump. All is right in the world of golf again.

On Sunday, Tiger was back at his very best in the final day of the Arnold Palmer Invitational

“It was unbelievable drama,” said Zach Johnson, the third member of the day’s final group with Woods and O’Hair. “I tried to stay in my own world. . . but it’s kind of hard when you’re seeing what you’re seeing.”

The headline story is simple and similar to last year US Open :

"Tiger Woods completed his comeback from knee surgery by winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational in dramatic fashion at the final hole at Bay Hill. Woods landed the 66th PGA Tour title of his career and his sixth victory at Bay Hill. The World Number One and defending champion started the day in second place, five shots behind overnight leader Sean O'Hair. The pair were level after 71 holes with Woods securing the title with a 16 foot birdie putt."
Asked how his rivals dealt with playing against him in that situation, Woods said: "I'm trying to beat them just how they're trying to beat me. It doesn't change.

Woods stretches his lead over World Number Two Phil Mickelson to 1.58 average points. Any comment Phil or Sergio?

What's in the bag - Phil Mickelson

Mickelson is hitting his stride!!!!

He is nicknamed "Lefty" for his left handed swing, even though he is otherwise right handed.
Playing in the same 72-hole event with Woods for the first time since the U.S. Open, Mickelson went wire-to-wire at Doral to win the CA Championship. He closed with a 69 on Sunday, despite spending a few hours in the hospital the night before with a stomach virus.

The victory moved him to No. 2 in the world, which is where he was when Woods left, and has put him closer than ever to No. 1. Depending on how Woods does at Bay Hill next week, Mickelson could have a mathematical chance to reach the top when he next plays at the Shell Houston Open.

Let see what he had in his bag when he beat tiger and the rest of the field during WGC- CA Championship recently.

How to avoid water hazard

Some tip from the so called pro golfer:

Water is everywhere on Golf Course, and will make even the best players in the world a little squeamish. More often than not, however, they manage to keep the ball safe. The average golfer does not. The mere presence of water is hazardous to their health.

Here are a few tips designed to keep your ball dry:

No. 1, remove the word “don’t” from your vocabulary. If your last thought before taking the club back is, “I don’t want to go left” or “I don’t want to miss short,” then guess what, you’re probably going to wind up left or short, and in the drink. Acknowledge the possibility that you “can” hit a good shot, and go about the business of executing that shot. Always make your last thought a positive one.

Secondly, pick the highest target you can. The farther up a tree you look the less likely you are to see water. If the flag is the highest target you can shoot for, focus on the top of the stick, not the bottom. When you’re on the driving range, make it a practice to pick out high targets.

And finally, make sure you complete both sides of your swing. Most nervous swings result in an incomplete backswing or follow-through and a wet ball. Swing back and through all the way and you have a much better chance of making solid contact.

My advise: Don’t believe all the shit above. Water hazard is considered a cursed and also a bread & butter for golfers. Even Ernie Els had drowned during the recent Honda Classic. If you really want to avoid the water hazard, pls sell your equipment and don’t play golf… otherwise bring extra golf ball… I mean extra used golf ball… ha! Ha! ha!

What's in the bag - Sergio Garcia

This bachelor drives a Ferrari 360 Modena "quickly" and a Jaguar XJR. One of his most notable ex-girlfriends is former world number-one tennis player Martina Hingis, who helped him cope with the emotional side of the game.
Sergio García aka Al Nino (born 9 January 1980) is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on both the United States PGA Tour and the European Tour. He has spent much of his career in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking (over 250 weeks between 2000 and 2008). He reached a career high ranking of two after winning the HSBC Champions tournament in November 2008.

His well known golf swings trademark “waggle”considered an unorthodox swing with a loop and large lag. In his early years, he repeatedly gripped, released, and regripped his hands on the club handle before finally taking a shot. This "waggle" habit created a stir, especially at the 2002 US Open when some galleries audibly counted the number of regrips into the twenties. Since then he has eliminated the habit. Responding to criticism of his swing, he said, "My swing works for me, so why should I change it? I prefer to have a natural swing and play well rather than a perfect swing and not be able to play good!"
García has an endorsement deal with TaylorMade-Adidas Golf and uses all TaylorMade clubs. His club lineup is as follows:
• Driver: TaylorMade R9 9.5°, Mitsubishi Diamana X-flex shaft
• Woods: TaylorMade Burner TP 14.5° (3 Wood), Fujikura RE.AX Rombax 105 TP and TaylorMade R7 TP 17.5° (5 Wood), Fujikura Vista Pro 80
• Irons: TaylorMade 2008 Tour Preferred Irons (4-PW), Royal Precision Rifle Project X 6.5
• Wedges: TaylorMade rac TP 54°, 58°, 60°
• Putter: Taylormade Rossa Daytona
• Rangefinder: Bushnell Slope Edition (Sponsored by Bushnell)

Despite lacking of Major Championship Trophy, his career earning till end of 2008 season: USD23,814,000.81
