ORDER OF MERIT – ASIAN TOUR VS PGA TOUR

Kudos to Jeev Mikha Singh who produced another stunning year in 2008, winning four times around the world including the Barclays Singapore Open to win his second Asian Tour's Order of Merit title in three years. He also won titles in Europe and Japan and moved up to a career high 35th in the world. Jeev won a record US$1.45 million on the Asian Tour to become the first man to surpass a million dollars in winnings in a single season.

He also enjoyed outstanding performances at the Majors, finishing tied 25th in his second appearance at the US Masters and was tied ninth at the US PGA Championship despite playing with an injured ankle. It was his best finish at a Major. Jeev also enjoyed an outstanding year in 2006, winning four times across the world, lifting his maiden Asian Tour's Order of Merit crown and leaping to 37th place on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Despite winning Asian order of Merit and winning US1.45 million he only equal to Ryan Palmer who are now 68th spot in PGA Tour and Tom Kite (10th spot) in Champions Tour…

Sigh…. No wonder our Asian Tour players standard still far behind…don’t ask me to start to compare with LPGA!!!!!!
