EAGLES HAS LANDED!!!! - FROM SOUTH KOREA

What is so special on this LPGA Corning Classic?

Event though this is the final year of the longest running tournament (31 years) on the LPGA Tour with the same sponsor at the same venue, we are much more excited to hear from this young Korean girl who make remarkable history in LPGA.

Eunjung Yi eagled three of her first five holes in the third round of the LPGA Corning Classic to vault from 4 under to 10 under, and four shots off the lead.
Yi eagled the par-4 first, the par-5 second, and the par-5 fifth. She’s just the fifth player in LPGA history to accomplish the feat and only the 17th to post consecutive eagles.

Maybe she don’t have chance to win compared to her Japanese compatriot but she definitely has landed into the glamorous golf tournament in the world.
It's a norm to make an eagle but 3 eagles in the first 5 hole? You must be kidding!!!! but anything can happen in golf!!!!!
For me, i have yet to archeive my 50th birdes in my entire life.... An eagle? yeah... keep on dreaming dude!!!!

What’s in the bag- Zach Johnson

This young dude from Iowa, has successfully defended his Texas Open title which he won it last year and earned his sixth career PGA Tour victory.

Seven months after his first victory at La Cantera Golf Club, Johnson beat James Driscoll with a 10-foot birdie putt on the first extra hole after a final-round shootout in which seven players stood within a stroke of the lead with four holes left. He already collected USD3.13M in 13th game in 2009 season!!!!.

So, let’s check what the heck he got in his Titleist bag when he earned $ 1,098,000.00 in Texas.

DARING JOHN DALY

When everybody talks about Stenson triumph and on how Tiger’s and the rest falter in Stadium course TPC, a few of us notice on how’s our problem child charging back from 11th place with a 5-under 66 in the final round in Italian Open last Sunday.

Wearing “batik” and multi colour trouser, he is playing in his second tournament on the European Tour since the break, Daly shot a 31 on the back nine with birdies at the 11th, 14th, 16th and 17th holes, and was six strokes off the lead. The 66 was the fifth consecutive round in which Daly has broken 70.

It was his first top 10 finish since 2005 and all the news he has made since then pointed to someone going off the rails again. Sharing second place with England's Robert Rock and Frenchman Raphael Jacquelin will certainly help. It earned him more than £86,000.

Banned by the US Tour for six months last November after he was thrown in jail to sober up and down at 794th in the world, there were those - many, in fact - who reckoned Daly was done and dusted as a golfer.

Not bad for unwanted golfer who was appeared just outside Augusta National last month, selling his own merchandise from a trailer outside Augusta National while The Masters went on and he did not deny he was in dire need of money.
