Camilo Villegas makes a rare albatross (double eagle) at 2009 Chevron World Challenge

He got nothing to shout about in 2009 season. He only managed to earned USD1,804,981 with 42 spot in PGA this year. His best finished: T4 in WGC-CA Championship.

Then he did a rare thing golfers are able to do at 2009 Chevron World Challenge.

Not bad for the former 2008 BMW championship and 2006 "the sexiest player on tour" named by Golf Digest.

Undisputed Asian Tour Champion 2009

Thongchai Jaidee capped a magical season and continues to establish himself as one of Asia’s greatest players. He claimed his 11th and 12th titles on the Asian Tour with victories at the Enjoy Jakarta Indonesia Open and Ballantine’s Championship in Korea, making him the player with the most wins on the Asian Tour.

Besides being officially crowned as Asia’s new number one for a record third time, the popular Thai also swept aside the Lowest Stroke Average with 69.06 and topped the career earnings, breaking the US$3 million barrier

Total 2009 earning : USD981,931.80 and he is now breaking into the world’s top-50.

Again and similar to Jeev and Weng Chong, as an undisputed champion in Asia, he only can match Scott McCarron(picture) who is number 92 in LPGA in 2009 career earning. To make it worst, he earned slightly higher than Michele Wie in LPGA who is 15th in LPGA with total earning of USD$918,659. (as at todate Wie still incharge with -7 in day two in Omega Dubai Ladies Masters)

Frankly speaking, for me it is an insult to Asian Tour generally!!
